REPORT: Indiana-Notre Dame College Football Playoff Game Set For Treacherous Weather Conditions In South Bend

Fans attending the first 2024-25 College Football Playoff Game between Notre Dame and Indiana will want to dress warm and should have a cup of hot chocolate at hand.

The Hoosiers-Fighting Irish game marks the first contest of the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff. The other three first-round matchups (Texas vs. Clemson, Ohio State vs. Tennessee and Penn State vs. SMU) will be held on Saturday.

Tonight’s game will be held in South Bend, Indiana. And the latest forecast tells us that it’ll be a snow-filled affair between the two teams:

Oregon, Arizona State, Georgia and Boise State received first-round byes as the nation’s top four teams. The winner of Indiana vs. Notre Dame will face Georgia at the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day.

College Football Playoff Concludes On Jan. 20

The month-long CFB postseason will conclude on Jan. 20, with the national championship game being held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (home of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons) in Atlanta, Georgia.
