LeBron James cannot process the Lakers’ latest defeat against the Atlanta Hawks. They succumbed to a 132-134 loss in overtime. The merry run of the purple and gold soon became a nightmare. Reeling from the loss, a somber LeBron James was found in the locker room after the game. Interacting with Spectrum SportsNet, James was asked if he felt the fans truly fathomed what he was doing as a 40-year-old. “I don’t know… I just go out there and just play the game the right way. Compete at a high level and leave it all out on the floor every time I go out there,” replied James.
He was also asked about his possible retirement timeline. “My time is very limited on how long I’ll play. I’m just happy to still be able to play the game that I love,” said James, making the rumors go even stronger. Now, King James’ performance against the Hawks was immaculate.
Playing for 42 minutes, the 3x NBA champion scored a whopping 39-point triple-double! Something that is considered impossible at the age of 40 in the NBA. Well, this is not the first time the possible retirement of the legend has been hinted at. Green recently spoke about Father Time catching up with the NBA legend.

However, Money Green also praised the NBA legend for hanging around strong at 40. He stated that people needed to understand that what James has been able to accomplish at his age is only a dream for most NBA athletes.
