Quick-thinking bystander rescues baby after mom ‘just plain forgot’ him in 110-degree car: cops
A Christian singer-songwriter in Pennsylvania faces felony charges after she allegedly “just plain forgot” her newborn son in a 110-degree car while shopping, cops said
On July 5, a passerby in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, spotted the two-month-old boy baking alive in a car that police called an “oven,” according to authorities.
The man opened the car, which was unlocked, carried the baby into an air-conditioned storefront, and called 911. He and two other good Samaritans stood by until a police officer could rush the child to a hospital. Thanks to the quick rescue, the tot suffered no lasting harm, cops said.
The baby had been sitting in the car for more than 30 minutes in 90-degree weather, according to authorities.
Now, Loveless faces felony charges for reckless endangerment of an infant. Loveless is also being investigated by Pennsylvania’s child services department.
Police said Loveless is a stay-at-home mom, but she has also worked as a Christian musician with original songs on SoundCloud and YouTube. Her Facebook account is full of doting photos of her kids.
