Scary Photo Released From Scene Of LSU Tigers QB Colin Hurley’s Car Crash That Left Him Unresponsive
LSU football freshman quarterback Colin Hurley needs all the prayers sent his way after he was frighteningly involved in a car accident on campus in the early hours of Thursday morning.
WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge reported Hurley crashed into a tree overnight near the south gates of LSU’s campus on Highland Road campus.
The 17-year-old was found unresponsive but breathing.
The cause of the crash has not been released, but officials said impairment was not suspected.”
Hours later, we are now seeing the tree that Colin Hurley’s Dodge Charger made impact with during his wreck.,
“Here’s the point of impact. Pieces of red plastic from the Charger are as far as 40 ft away,” Bess Casserleigh of WBRZ reported on Thursday morning.
The 17-year-old from Jacksonville, Florida, redshirted this past season and is currently the third-string quarterback behind Garrett Nussmeier and Mississippi State transfer Michael Van Buren.
Hurley, a freshman out of Jacksonville, Florida, was only 16 when he enrolled in the school in 2023.
The teenager was the No. 25 quarterback from the Class of 2024, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

LSU backup quarterback Colin Hurley is hopefully in recovery after he was left injured after crashing his car into a tree on the school’s campus.
He was found unresponsive after being pulled out of his vehicle by firefighters early Thursday morning.
Officials say Hurley was breathing but was in and out of consciousness and had a large cut on his face.
The cause of the crash is yet to be released, though officials reportedly believe impairment was not suspected.
