Pop star Jessie J has shared another emotional update amid her ongoing battle with cancer.
The ‘Price Tag’ singer has shared a candid update with fans, who were left devastated earlier this year when the star announced that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The diagnosis came after an-already traumatic time in her life some years previous, in which she had been battling endometriosis and miscarriage.
She is now the mom of two-year-old Sky, after struggling to conceive for an entire decade.
Announcing the sad news in March, Jessie said: “Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding on to the word ‘early.’
“But honestly I need to process it and talk about it and, I need a hug.”
Speaking to her fans, she added: “You have loved me through all my good and hard times. And I don’t want this to be any different.”
Despite noting that doctors caught her cancer at an early point, her journey has not been without hardship.

Earlier in the year, she was forced to cancel her tour as a result of the cancer treatment.
She was due to perform in the UK and Europe in October, before gigs in the US in November.
But addressing her loyal fans on Instagram, she revealed that another surgery meant the concerts would not go ahead as planned.
Jessie said: “I need to be healed, and I know this is the right decision to make.
“So I’m postponing the tour till next year.”
The star asked fans to ‘bear with’ her regarding the US tour, adding that it’s ‘something that I want to do, but when the time is right.’
The pop sensation added: “You guys know how much I want to do all of it, but I just can’t.
“And I have to be realistic.”
Now, the star has issued a heartbreaking update.
Following her diagnosis, fans have flooded her Instagram with well wishes.
One said: “Sending you all the best lights for your healing process and thanks for being who you are… such a beautiful and sincere soul!”
Another added: “Your health IS and always will be our priority.”

A third wrote: “You are an absolute warrior, and everyone will support you. Stay strong and get stronger.”
As another noted: “Girl take your time and be with your little sunshine.
“Your music and personality has helped through my toughest times so we’ll be here when you’re ready !!”
Replying to her devoted fans in the comments, Jessie added: “I’m scrolling these comments in bed right now, sobbing my eyes out.
“The LOVE and SUPPORT and UNDERSTANDING. Is felt. Thank YOU.”
Jessie has also been open about the moment she found out that she was diagnosed with the illness.
The singer revealed that her doctor messaged her to arrange a call.
Speaking to The Guardian, she revealed: “I was, like, ‘Oh, it’s a Zoom, it won’t be anything.’
“So I jump on the Zoom thinking it’s all going to be good, and she goes, ‘Are you sitting down?’ You know that sad tone they use?
“And she says, ‘I’m so, so sorry, but your test results have come back as high-grade cancer cells.’”
And in a devastating update, Jessie revealed her initial reaction to the heartbreaking news.

Since becoming a mother, she noted that her son has been her major driving force.
Speaking on TV show The Project, she said: “It’s the magic of my little Sky… I love my boy so much.
“I’m living my best life.
“Being a mum as well and having a career and a child and having both, I’m loving it.”
In her devastating update, the ‘Bang Bang’ singer revealed that Sky was her first thought.
Responding to the doctor’s awful news, she revealed: “I said, ‘Oh, that’s not ideal, is it? That’s not f***ing great timing.’
“The first thing I thought was, ‘I can’t die because my son needs me.’”
