Former College Quarterback Tragically Dies In Freak Hunting Accident At Just 27-Years-Old
A former college quarterback who was a sergeant in the United States Army has reportedly passed away following a hunting accident. Tommy Lazzaro, who played for Central Michigan University, was tragically killed in Florida last weekend.
According to multiple sources, the 27-year-old lost his life in what the Walton County Sheriff’s Office referred to as “a tragic hunting accident” at Eglin Air Force Base.
TaskandPurpose.com reported that Lazzaro was errantly shot by a hunter at the Eglin range.
The former QB joined the army after graduating and was attached to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne).
