VIDEO: Saints Star TE Taysom Hill Had To Be Carted Off After Taking Vicious Knee Shot During Loss To Rams
New Orleans Saints tight end and do-it-all weapon Taysom Hill was carted off after taking a vicious shot to the knee in Sunday’s defeat to the Los Angeles Rams.
Taysom Hill picked up a crucial fourth down for the Saints’ late in their must-win contest against the Rams. Unfortunately, the fan favorite was hurt on the play after taking a gruesome-looking hit to the knee:
Hill had to be carted off the field, and the Saints were unable to get the game-tying score in their final drive. They fell 21-14 to the visiting Rams, all but ending their playoff minimal postseason hopes.
Sports injury expert Dr. David Chao believes Taysom Hill may have suffered torn ligaments with a bone bruise and/or chip fracture. Chao fears it’s a season-ending injury for the veteran star:

Hill had 10 rushing yards and 37 receiving yards in the Saints’ gut-wrenching loss to the visiting Rams. The Saints probably would have used him in the red zone if he hadn’t suffered an injury, but Derek Carr and company couldn’t convert a fourth-down situation.
