New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has already emerged as a super-early front-runner to win the 2028 United States presidential election.

 

Republican candidate Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. The 78-year-old becomes the second U.S. president to serve two non-consecutive terms, joining Grover Cleveland in the exclusive club. Might Aaron Rodgers continue the trend of a notable celebrity winning the presidency?

As Trump will not be eligible for a third term in office, the 2028 election will have a new president to succeed him. And the way-too-early betting odds have Rodgers listed as one of the early front-runners to win the next election.

In their updated betting odds for the 2028 election, Bookies.com lists soon-to-be Vice President JD Vance as the +450 favorite, followed by California Governor Gavin Newsom at +575. Incredibly, Rodgers is on the list of early favorites with +3000 odds:

Rodgers will be approaching his 45th birthday at the time of the 2028 election, so he’ll likely be long retired from football by then. And of course, we can’t forget that the four-time league MVP rejected Robert F. Kennedy’s invitation to be his running mate.

Aaron Rodgers Could Actually Consider A Run For Office

As Trump and the late Ronald Reagan showed, a prominent celebrity can easily win the presidency if they can communicate and appeal to the American people accordingly. So if Rodgers seriously considered a run for office, he’d have the blueprints to follow.
