Moore finished the day as Chicago’s leading receiver, with six receptions for 53 yards. But the four-time 1,000-yard receiver has been limited to 11 catches for 89 yards and no touchdowns through the first two games, so his frustration is warranted.

The former Carolina Panthers star had a career year with the Bears last season after coming over as part of the Bryce Young trade, catching 96 passes for 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns.

Williams’ arrival is supposed to help DJ Moore take his game to another level, but the first overall pick of 2024 is quickly experiencing the difficulties of transitioning from the college ranks to the pros.

Bears Need To Feed DJ Moore

The Bears were too committed to the rushing game yesterday when it was clear that the Houston Texans wouldn’t give up much on the ground. Chicago should have been more committed to a passing game that features DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, Cole Kmet and do-it-all running back D’Andre Swift.

It’s on offensive coordinator Shane Waldron to draw up more plays that will get Moore the football. He’s a superstar game-wrecker who can’t be held back by inconsistent play by a rookie QB.
