Isiah Thomas Claps Back At Anthony Edwards For Calling Michael Jordan The Only Skilled Player During His Era
In his first Olympic appearance, Anthony Davis garnered attention for his super athleticism that helped Team USA win gold in Paris. However, the recent comments made by Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards have stirred controversy. Edwards claimed that Michael Jordan was the only player with skill during his era, dismissing the talent of other players from the past.
“They say it was tougher back then than it is now. But I don’t think anybody had skill back then. [Michael Jordan] was the only one that really had skill,” Edwards said.
These remarks have drawn sharp criticism from former NBA star Isiah Thomas, who responded on social media. Thomas claimed that modern players might underestimate the talent of past players due to misleading narratives.
“Propaganda works, so be careful what you choose to believe,” Thomas wrote in the title of his X post.
