Things quickly went from bad to worse for an unfortunate Los Angeles Rams fan at SoFi Stadium during Saturday’s preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Los Angeles Rams were designated the “away” team for their preseason Week 2 showdown against the Chargers. And what was supposed to be a memorable evening for a couple featured on the “Kiss Cam” quickly became disastrous.

The young couple were featured on the “Kiss Cam” during a stoppage in the game. The Rams fan took the opportunity to propose to his girlfriend, and the cameras unfortunately caught her rejection.

And to make matters worse for that poor Los Angeles Rams fan, another spectator accidentally spilled nachos on him right after his proposal was rejected. And because he wore a white Rams jersey, he will need quite the stain-removal to get the cheese off.

If there’s any consolation, he at least got some free cheese to lick off the jersey. It could have been worse.

The Los Angeles Rams won 13-9 to improve to 2-0 in preseason play. Stetson Bennett played the entire game for Sean McVay’s group, completing 17 of 31 pass attempts for 213 yards, one touchdown and an interception.

Los Angeles will wrap up preseason play with a road tilt against the Houston Texans next Saturday.

Los Angeles Rams Open 2024 Season At Detroit Lions

The Rams are coming off a surprise 10-win season and return to the postseason. They narrowly fell to the Detroit Lions (Matthew Stafford’s old team) 24-23 in the NFC Wild Card Round.

Stafford and company won’t have to wait too long for revenge, as the Rams will kick off their 2024 season with a road tilt against the Lions on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 1.

Los Angeles has made the postseason in three of the last four years, highlighted by a Super Bowl 56 championship. We’ll see if the retooled Rams can embark on another deep postseason run in year one of the post-Aaron Donald era.
