Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift soon getting engaged as love story gets ready for next step
Another ring is within reach for Travis Kelce.
The three-time Super Bowl champion Chiefs star tight end has a plan up his sleeve to complete the Grammy-winning and singer-songwriter Taylor Swift’s love story, as the two will soon be getting engaged, sources told Page Six.
“The engagement is happening soon,” the source said.
Page Six reported in December that the nine-time Pro Bowler had already been on a quest for the perfect ring, and had even gone to Swift’s father, Scott, for his blessing.
“Scott has been asked for his blessing and has wholeheartedly given it, and Travis has been talking to friends about a ring,” a source close to Kelce declared.
Sources also previously said the star-studded duo were planning on sealing the deal this summer.
Swift has been traveling the world for her The Eras Tour, her sixth concert tour, since 2023.
The tour, which will wrap up in Vancouver on Dec. 8, erupted as the highest-grossing music tour in history.
The 34-year-old is performing in Europe and will enjoy a brief intermission from the stage in August.
She plans on “spending a lot of time in Kansas City until she hits the road again in October,” a source told Page Six.
Meanwhile, Kelce and the Chiefs have returned to the grindstone, prepping for the upcoming NFL season, which starts on Sep. 5 with what is an AFC Championship Game rematch against the Ravens.
Swift and Kelce started their romance last fall after the pop star made an appearance at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium for a home game against the Bears.
The celebrity pair quickly became America’s most-talked-about couple.
Although Kelce’s rep denied any speculation of an engagement plan to Page Six, a Chiefs executive’s wife was overheard spilling the beans to some friends at a Morgan Wallen concert, telling them the couple was engaged, per Page Six.
