Prince George celebrates 11th birthday as parents Kate Middleton, Prince William share sweet photo
Kate Middleton and Prince William have shared a new photo of their son Prince George to mark his 11th birthday Monday.
“Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!” the Prince and Princess of Wales captioned the image that was shared on X and Instagram.
In the black and white snap, the future King looks all grown up as he can be seen wearing a suit atop a crisp white shirt as he smiles at the camera.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted George wearing a friendship bracelet on his left wrist, which bears striking similarity to the one King Charles and Princess Charlotte wear.
What’s more, George’s mom, who is an avid photographer, is credited for taking the sweet the photo in Windsor earlier this month.
It wasn’t long before fans rushed to the comments section to point out the striking resemblance between George and his father, the Prince of Wales, 42.
“A handsome young man! He takes after his dad, so alike.✨,” wrote one fan.
Another wrote on Instagram, “Prince George looks so much like his Dad 😍😍😍.”
“What a handsome young man, growing up so fast. Well done William and Catherine,” a third added.
The Post revealed that the Prince and Princess of Wales threw a “private party” for their eldest child to mark the milestone.
However, former royal butler Grant Harrold revealed that this year’s fete looked “very different from last year.”
George has been in the spotlight more often in recent times, cementing himself as a member of the Firm.
After taking on a big role at his grandfather King Charles’ coronation in May 2023 as one of his Pages of Honor during the crowning ceremony, George has been trusted with an increasing number of royal engagements.
This year alone, he’s taken on a more prominent role within the family, appearing at the Trooping the Colour ceremony last month where he joined his family on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
The following month, George journeyed to Berlin, Germany with his father, Prince William, where the pair attended the EURO 2024 final as England took on Spain in the soccer match-up.
It comes after George’s sister Princess Charlotte celebrated her 9th birthday on May 2.
The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a sweet snap of the royal posing in their backyard on her special day.
“Happy 9th Birthday, Princess Charlotte! 🎂 Thank you for all of the kind messages today,” they captioned the pic.
Her birthday came just over a week after her younger brother Prince Louis celebrated his 6th birthday.
