PHOTOS: NFL Fans Are In Shock Over Images Of 49ers QB Brock Purdy Looking Absolutely Shredded Like We’ve Never Seen Him Before
Football fans are losing their minds over new images of San Francisco 49ers quarterback looking incredibly shredded ahead of training camp.
Brock Purdy proved that his 2022 rookie year was no fluke, as he threw for 4,280 yards and 31 touchdowns against 11 interceptions. He led San Francisco to a Super Bowl 58 appearance, where they fell to Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs in overtime.
On the 49ers’ official team website, the 6-foot-1 Purdy is listed at 220 pounds. But judging by these new photos of him, the third-year quarterback looks like someone who weighs even more now after (clearly) putting the work in the gym during the offseason.

Football fans had plenty of interesting reactions to these images of Brock Purdy looking insanely jacked and shredded ahead of training camp:
The Iowa State product was the final draft selection of 2022 (262nd overall), hence the “Mr. Irrelevant” nickname. Purdy has been anything but irrelevant since taking over as the 49ers’ starting QB, however, with a 17-4 record, 44 touchdowns and only five interceptions to go along with a 4-2 postseason record.
Though San Francisco is bringing back most of the core players from last year, it remains to be seen if Purdy will have his top wideout in Brandon Aiyuk. The 26-year-old requested a trade earlier this week amid a contract dispute, and a holdout is always possible on Aiyuk’s end if the 49ers refuse to trade him.
Brock Purdy Is In Line For Another Special Year
With or without Aiyuk, Brock Purdy should be in a good position to build on his excellent 2023 campaign, which nearly culminated in a Super Bowl.
Purdy still has the league’s best running back in Christian McCaffrey and two other superstar pass-catchers in wideout Deebo Samuel and tight end George Kittle. And if Aiyuk isn’t a 49er in 2024, Purdy can lean on first-round pick Ricky Pearsall.
