Indianapolis Colts QB Daniel Jones Gushes Blood After Terrifying Tackle [VIDEO]

Daniel Jones is a warrior.
Jones has spent the first half of his first season in Indianapolis rewriting the narrative around his career. It continued on Sunday.
While trying to get his team in position to tie the game against the Atlanta Falcons while playing in Berlin, Germany, he found himself gushing blood.
The Colts quarterback took a big hit to his face and paid for it dearly as blood could be seen gushing from his mouth and all over his lips.
Jones had the same bloody face as San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones, who bled from his nose after a vicious hit against the Giants.
Daniel Jones is balling out, coming into Sunday’s game leading the NFL in passing yards (2,404) and passing success rate (54.4 percent) through Week 9.
“Just excited for Daniel,” Peyton Manning said on “Up & Adams” while stating Jones deserves a contract extension.
“No one deserves it more, has worked harder and he did it from day one. … He was with me in that quarterback room every single day, every single time. It was fun because he was a sponge. He wanted to learn. He asked questions. You saw the commitment. He wanted to do the right things all the time. Very coachable.”
What a difference a year makes. Around this time in 2024, the New York Giants benched Jones for Danny DeVito and later granted later request for a release. Jones then latched on with the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad for the rest of the season.
Now, he is the head of a Super Bowl-contending team.
