BREAKING: Donald Trump has a complete meltdown during a Fox News interview when confronted about his disastrous polling numbers, whines that they “stink.”
He wasn’t expecting to hear the truth from the right-wing network…
“We’re gonna have numbers like nobody has ever seen before, including jobs,” Trump told host Martha MacCallum.
“When do you think we’re gonna feel that? Because we do see polling that doesn’t poll well in the economy. Recent Fox polling said 52% said the economy is worse under this administration,” she replied.
That number is hardly surprising given the incredibly destructive effect that Trump’s ill-conceived tariffs have had on the global economy. Inflation is on the rise, the labor market is stagnating, and American companies are struggling to keep their doors open.
The poll in question also found that a measly 30% of Americans believe that Trump has improved the economy while 18% felt that it has remained the same.
MacCallum pressed Trump on the issue, pointing out that the unemployment rate has hit a post-pandemic high and grocery prices have experienced a “big jump.”
“How is that — you’re looking forward with these plans that you just talked about. When will people feel that, President Trump?” she asked.
Trump responded by rambling about factories that are supposedly going to eventually open before pivoting to an attack on Fox News itself.
“Fox polling, I have to tell you, I’ve told you before, is the worst polling I’ve ever had,” complained Trump. “It’s always… During the election they had me winning by a little bit, not by a massive amount. Fox polling, I’ve told Rupert Murdoch, go get yourself a new pollster because he stinks. And this is for years now.”
Of course, the problem isn’t Fox’s polling, the problem is Trump. With the exception of the diehard members of the MAGA cult, the American people have realized that they made a colossal mistake electing this convicted felon for a second time. Trump is an abject failure by every metric and the longer that he remains in power, the worse things will get.
