After posting one photo, Billie Eilish lost 100,000 followers in an hour

Following one picture on Instagram, Billie Eilish allegedly lost 100,000 followers in an hour.
With her 2015 SoundCloud viral hit “Ocean Eyes,” 22-year-old soared to popularity.
With seven top 10 singles and several honors, including nine Grammys and two American Music Awards, she is today a music sensation.

Songs for some of the biggest recent movies, like James Bond’s No Time to Die and Barbie, Eilish, with co-collaborator brother Finneas O’Connell, has also written.
Like many celebrities, Eilish has faced criticism from her followers; once it caused her to lose a sizable social media following, it caused problems.
From a young age, Eilish has been in the public eye; although her popularity and success keep growing, it has sometimes come under close examination.

The singer’s look and style have changed throughout the years; she tried with green to red hair.
Around the time of her forthcoming album “Happier Than Ever,” Eilish debuted a fresh look on the cover of British Vogue.
She was seen with blonde bombshell hair and a corset, a style several fans loved. Others disagreed with her, though.

“I used to love Billie until she changed,” stated one.
Another said: “Bring back the green hair!”
Third person noted, “Not a role model anymore.”
Eilish to the critics on Instagram at the time.
“I spent the first 5 years of my career absolutely annihilated by you fools for being boyish and dressing how I did and constantly being told I’d be hotter if I acted like a woman,” the singer remarked (via CBS). And now I changed and sold out when I felt ready to wear anything vaguely feminine or fitting.
She followed with: “I can be both.”
Eilish mentioned the Vogue photoshoot reaction in an interview with Elle and said: “People have an affinity to these memories. Still, it’s quite degrading.

The “bad guy” singer has also stood up to admirers at other occasions.
Eilish followed the “post a picture” trend in 2020, which resulted in requests from fans asking the singer to upload a “drawing you’re really proud of.” The Independent notes
The then 19-year-old revealed a page from her sketchbook showing n@ked people together with a doodle of breasts.

She remarked: “These probably lol I love b**bs.”
From 73 million to 72.9 million, Eilish’s Instagram follower count apparently plummeted following the post.
The “everything I wanted” artist responded, “LMFAOOO y’all babies smh,” taking to her stories.
