VIDEOS: Horrific Scene Unfolds During Liverpool FC’s Championship Celebration As Multiple Fans Seriously Injured After Getting Plowed Down By Crazed Driver

A crazed driver left several people injured after driving into a large crowd during Liverpool FC’s Premier League victory parade on Monday.
The Merseyside-based club celebrated its 20th top-flight win this season, having won a second title in the Premier League era this past season.
Fans took to the streets to watch the team parade their latest trophy through the city, but the outing was marred by a motorist. The incident took place around 6:00 p.m. on Water Street, with a car seen plowing into the crowd after fans were seen hitting it.
The graphic footage below shows the car moving at high speed through the crowd and hitting multiple people before coming to a stop.
“Witnesses described hearing the horrifying screams of victims and the sickening thud of bodies being flung over the bonnet as the car accelerated into the tightly packed crowd on the narrow street,” the Daily Mail reports.
It’s also reported that a baby was hit during the incident.
53-Year-Old Detained By The Authorities Following Incident At Liverpool FC’s Victory Parade

Fans mobbed the car after it stopped, hitting it and throwing bottles at it before dragging the driver out while screaming, “kill him,” with some trying to lift the vehicle to rescue pedestrians trapped under the wheels. Police quickly intervened.
A 53-year-old has been detained and could face terrorism charges as the Counter Terrorism Policing North West has joined Merseyside Police in their investigations.
This all takes place only days after the city hosted a park run to commemorate the lives of the Liverpool FC fans who perished in the Hillsborough disaster in 1989.
It also comes after a female driver accidentally mowed down a crowd, injuring 13 people outside of a game between La Liga champions Barcelona and Espanyol on May 15.
