Cause Of Death Revealed For 21-Year-Old Former Ohio State Buckeyes Football Star

Former Ohio State offensive lineman Ben Christman tragically lost his life last week.
No cause of death was revealed for the UNLV Rebels offensive lineman, who transferred from Kentucky after last season.
He was found dead in an off-campus apartment on Tuesday of last week.
The university could not reveal a cause of death at the time, but it has since been revealed.
Days after the sudden death of college football player Ben Christman, it has been revealed he died of natural causes.
Christman’s obituary on Akron’s Hummel Funeral Home website states the 21-year-old died in his sleep on February 11 in Las Vegas from unspecified natural causes.
What makes this situation even more tragic is that he died one day before his 22nd birthday.
Christman transferred to play at UNLV after being part of Kentucky’s football team for two seasons after he originally committed to play for the Buckeyes in 2021.
However, Ben Christman transferred to Kentucky in 2023. He played 12 games with the Wildcats in 2024 before moving to UNLV.
His memorial service is scheduled for Friday morning at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Akron.
Visiting hours for him will be Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Akron.
