Radar footage leading up to the final moments of American Airlines Flight AA5342 can now be seen online.

The United States experienced another massive tragedy this week as a military Black Hawk helicopter collided with the aforementioned passenger flight on Wednesday night, killing over 60 people.

Flight AA5342 was coming in from Wichita, Kansas when it got hit by the Army craft and plunged into the Potomac River near the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

The radar footage below shows the American Airlines jet flying over the river and reaching the airport before turning back and stopping over the body of water, an indication that it went down.

Check it out here:

The source, FlightRadar24, has explained that the change in direction is due to the data sources switching.

“The change in direction is an adjustment as the flight switches between ADS-B and third-party data sources close to the airport,” they wrote. “As those sources have a different timing and calibration, the aircraft icon in playback can appear to “jump.”

Flight AA5342 Crash Left No Survivors

According to reports, the flight was carrying 64 people, including 14 figure skaters, their coaches, and family members. Three soldiers were also said to be on the helicopter.

Authorities have disclosed that there were no survivors.
