Michael Irvin Drops Major Announcement Involving Former Cowboys Cheerleader-Turned-NBA Scout
The NFL playoffs are down to their last four games, and Michael Irvin has some huge news this week regarding a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin continues to break glass ceilings in the sports industry as the first female NBA scout. She recently took to her Instagram to announce news about the hall-of-fame wide receiver.
The trailblazing sportscaster, actress, model, and philanthropist posted an Instagram post announcing that three-time Super Bowl champion Michael Irvin would be part of the ‘Dinner With A Legend’ series, which she would host.
Irvin was set to present for the dinner that was held on January 22nd.
NBA legend Magic Johnson also has been a part of this series.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin shared in part on Instagram, “Join me as I host the Legends Dinner Series at @Yaamava Casino and Resort for an exclusive evening with the Playmaker, @michaelirvin88 ! This unique experience offers you the chance to a meet and greet, and enjoy a delicious 4-course meal crafted by an award-winning culinary team.” The former Los Angeles Lakers scout continued, “I’ll be interviewing Michael live, followed by an engaging Q&A session.”
Michael Irvin Not Happy With Caitlin Clark And Taylor Swift
We are now in 2025, and the Dallas Cowboys still haven’t reached the NFC championship game since 1995.
It is something that has had the fan base in shambles for the entire 30 years.
Michael Irvin, who was on that last team in 1995, is also frustrated with it, especially since there have been so many winning teams and dynasties that have come and gone.
With those dynasties have been fans attempting to give their team the name of “America’s Team.”
Cowboys legend Michael Irvin still seems to think that Dallas has kept its rights to the nickname, and no one can take that from them.
Irvin recently took a not-so-subtle shot at celebrities like Caitlin Clark and Taylor Swift, accusing them of “stealing” the “America’s Team” tag from the Cowboys.
“We’re going to talk about Caitlin Clark and Taylor Swift at the Kansas City Chiefs game,” Irvin said on IT Is What It Is. “They’re trying to make that (happen). Those are two good old American girls. They’re trying to make those Chiefs—they’re trying to steal America’s title.”
