Shedeur Sanders is just months away from the biggest moment of his life as he will get to hear which team will call his name in the NFL Draft.

The former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback attended Colorado for the past two seasons and made more than just waves on the field.

He also excelled in the classroom.

Earlier this week, the cumulative GPA for the Colorado football team hit social media and immediately went viral.

Both Shedeur Sanders and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter showed they were more than just star athletes by boasting nearly 4.0 GPAs during their time at Colorado.

According to Colorado assistant coach James Chaney, the team reached a cumulative GPA over 3.0 for the first time in program history.

That is truly incredible.

Unfortunately, the team’s GPA will take a hit with Shedeur and Travis leaving for the NFL.

Shedeur always excelled in the classroom, boasting a 3.9 GPA while attending Trinity Christian School in Cedar Hill, Texas, the same high school where his father, Deion, served as offensive coordinator.

In his final collegiate season, Sanders threw for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He pushed to take his talents to either the Giants or Raiders, but neither of those two teams are in position to take him right now.

Deion Sanders Said Shedeur Sanders Never Went To Class

The transformation of the Colorado Buffaloes under head coach Deion Sanders has been nothing short of incredible.

Shedeur Sanders was a huge part of that on and off the field.

Deion’s comment about his son Shedeur’s education at Colorado raised eyebrows. He revealed that the team’s star quarterback never went to class during his time at the school.

He took classes online.

“Ain’t none of them on campus because things have changed,” Sanders said in an appearance on the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast. “Everybody is taking classes online, and they graduate. Shedeur has never taken a class on campus in his whole college career. Shilo [Sanders] may have at South Carolina but I don’t remember Travis [Hunter] ever being on campus as well. So, they missed a whole part of the collegiate experience. But to each his own.”
