Jeudy has nothing to regret though, but the Jets do. After being traded to the Browns, the wideout recorded the best season of his entire career after registering 1,000 yards – a first for his career. The Browns may not be in playoff contention, but even without their star QB, Deshaun Watson, who is out for the season due to an Achilles injury, they are 3-11. The Jets, on the other hand, even with veteran, 4x NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers are 4-10.
Jerry Jeudy faces the wrath of former team’s fanbase
During the game against the Denver Broncos on Dec. 2, Jeudy was booed by his former team’s fanbase after every catch. They were angry that he was having one of the best seasons of his career, but now with the team that had drafted him in their first round.
However, Jeudy was not one to be discouraged by it, and instead took the boos and insults by the fanbase in stride. After the game, he opened up about how he truly felt.
“There were a lot of boos, huh? What that mean? A lot of catches, too,” Jeudy said. “They only boo you when they know there’s something great in you.”
