Detroit Lions Announce They’ve Lost Two Key Players For The Rest Of The Season Due To Devastating Injuries
The Detroit Lions are set to play their three remaining regular-season games and go into the playoffs without a pair of key defensive players.
The Lions lost 48-42 to the Buffalo Bills at home on Sunday, but the drop to 12-2 is hardly all they have to worry about.
The team announced on Monday morning that cornerback Khalil Dorsey and defensive lineman Alim McNeil are both done for the season, having sustained a fractured leg and a torn ACL, respectively.
“Know more tomorrow. I don’t feel good about either one of those guys,” head coach Dan Campbell told reporters after the loss on Sunday. “Normally if I’m like saying ‘I don’t feel good,’ that means not good for the rest of the year, so don’t feel good about it.”
