NFL Fans Are Calling Out Refs For “Rigging” Commanders-Saints Game After Noticing Something Very Fishy During Final Seconds That Screwed Bettors Everywhere
Refs during the Commanders and Saints game nearly caused a major issue with a terrible call late in that contest.
Washington snuck past New Orleans with a 20-19 final score on Sunday afternoon, but the refs almost prevented it.
The game came down to the final seconds as quarterback Spencer Rattler and the Saints offense marched down the field to take a much-needed victory late in the fourth quarter.
Trailing the Commanders 20-13, Rattler completed a pass to tight end Foster Moreau inside the five-yard line as the clock ticked down from ten seconds.
However, for some unknown reason, the line judge signaled for the clock to be stopped, which it did at nine seconds for about five seconds.
It then began to run again as the Saints offense rushed to the line to spike the ball. The game should’ve been over, and the Commanders should’ve won.
Instead, Rattler was able to spike the ball with three seconds remaining on the clock.
From there, the Saints quarterback completed a touchdown pass to Moreau, making the score 20-19.
Commanders fans were rightfully upset over the clock stopping for no reason and screwing their team.
“The crew was egregious all day. Look at the end of the 3rd, and the FG try. 5 seconds went by,” one fan said.
“wtf, I saw that as well,” said another guy.
One fan concluded: “NFL is an entertainment industry.”
