The New York Yankees seem to be making good use of Juan Soto’s $760 million. The Yanks have acquired Max Fried and are in hot pursuit of other star sluggers. The good news is that they are ready to go all-in for Roki Sasaki.

Many Yankees fans were upset that Soto chose the New York Mets. However, it all seems to be working in favor of the team. With Soto’s money, the Bronx Bombers can opt for many other stars, and they have already started discussions for position players.

The team’s GM, Brian Cashman, made it clear that they are in pursuit of Sasaki. Cashman said they have already prepared a virtual presentation for Sasaki and will take several steps to land the Japanese star.

“The Yankees already have prepped a virtual presentation. It’s a big arm with a big desire to be great. His intent is to be one of the game’s greatest pitchers on the planet, and we certainly would love to participate in allowing that to happen,” Cashman said via the New York Post.

Yankees fans are delighted to see the team making progress after missing out on Soto. The Yanks have also signed Jonathan Loaisiga to a one-year deal. Loaisiga struggled with an elbow injury and missed most of last year’s season. Loaisiga is expected to get back on the mound in April.

Yankees Are Also Linked With All-Star Closer Devin Williams

After Soto signed with the Mets, the Yankees have been linked with several players. While they seem to be securing some pitching arms, the Bronx Bombers are also linked with All-Star closer Devin Williams.

Williams will be a free agent after the 2025 season. The Milwaukee Brewers are expected to trade Williams before he hits the free-agent market. Williams would be the ultimate closer for the team, especially in the playoffs.

The Yanks are predicted to sign Williams for around $8 million. The Brew Crew will make use of the money they get from New York. Williams will join Luke Weaver, and the Yanks will quickly have one of the best pitching rotations in the league. The Yanks are expected to go after several key players who could shape their future.
