How Travis Kelce paid tribute to Taylor Swift during Chiefs vs. Chargers game

Forget Elf on a Shelf!

Travis Kelce honored girlfriend Taylor Swift with some adorable Christmas decor in his VIP suite at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.

A fan posted a photo on X Monday of what appeared to be Swift’s face on a mini Mrs. Clause ornament while another was shaped like Santa Clause with Kelce’s face on it.

“Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce as Mrs. Claus and Santa Claus in Travis Kelce’s suite at tonight’s game!” the fan wrote in a post on X along with the festive photos.

Swifites raved over the kitsch holiday decor in the comments section of the post.

“Taylor and Travis are spreading holiday cheer,” one person wrote.

“Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce bring holiday magic as Mrs. Claus and Santa, what a duo,” a second person said, with another adding, “Cute holiday vibes.”

Kelce’s suite was decked out with holiday decor for the Chiefs game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. The tight end helped lead his team to win with a final score of 19-17.

The “Cruel Summer” singer, 34, was not in attendance for the game as she was busy in Vancouver performing the final show of her blockbuster Eras Tour.

While Kelce, 35, couldn’t be in the audience to support Swift in person, fans were convinced that he rushed his post-game interview so he could go stream the rest of her gig.

The “New Heights” podcast host appeared distracted in the locker room as he quickly answered questions about the team’s performance.

Meanwhile, the pop star made sure to give Kelce a shout-out during the concert by switching the lyrics in her song “Karma” from “the guy on the screen” to “the guy on the Chiefs.”

She famously first made the lyric swap in November 2023 during a Buenos Aires show.

In another moment, fans caught Swift doing an archer pose during her performance of “But Daddy I Love Him,” which is believed to partly be about Kelce.

The three-time Super Bowl champion is known for doing the signature pose while celebrating on the football field.

The couple, seen here in September, has been dating since last summer.
However, Swift has also used the same move in her choreography for her 2019 song, “The Archer,” even before she started dating Kelce last summer.

Swift shared an emotional message with her audience before closing out her blockbuster world tour — which made a record-breaking $2,007,618,725 in ticket sales.

“I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date — my beloved Eras Tour,” the singer told the crowd, adding, “It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.”
