British golfer Charley Hull is having quite the 2024.

Fresh off her 2024 Aramco Team Series win at Riyadh, which was her first victory since 2022, Hull had her name buzzing yet again this week for multiple reasons.

Hull was looking to build on her recent victory at the Aramco Team Series event when she took to the first round of The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican on the LPGA Tour.

Charley Hull was certainly on her game as she went on to shoot a brilliant 6-under 64 in the first round as she shares the lead alongside Jeon Ji-won after one round of play.

It wasn’t all good on this day, as Hull was forced to take a brief timeout midway through her round due to a hip injury.

She would have to call a physiotherapist to sort her out.

Hull was seen lying on the floor for a couple of minutes as the physio worked on her. It led to an incredible image of Charlie Hull on her back while wearing a skirt and the guy essentially having his hands between her legs.

Social media was in shock.

The 28-year-old Hull has enjoyed a strong stretch of play ever since she frighteningly slipped in the shower and injured her right shoulder in July.

Charley Hull hasn’t finished outside the top 20 in her last four starts on the LPGA.

Charley Hull Speaks On Her Performance in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Charley Hull shot a 6-under 64 in the first round of The ANNIKA and is tied for the lead. The English superstar made seven bogeys, but she did just enough to be at the top of the leaderboard with South Korea’s Jiwon Jeon.

Before this event, Hull recorded her largest win margin at the 2024 Aramco Series in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In doing so, she won her first title since 2022.

“I felt really sharp, I played very solidly,” she said via the BBC.

The two-time LPGA Tour title winner then reflected on her performance at the Riyadh Golf Club.

“I made a bogey on the par-five 17th and the par three, but that was just two three putts. (They were) quite long putts, and they got away from me a little bit, but I felt like I held my game together pretty well.”
