Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan was known for his scoring prowess, which helped him win the league’s scoring title in 10 seasons. Jordan leads the list of most 30-point games in the NBA with 562 and is second only to legendary Wilt Chamberlain in 50-point and 40-point games. However, MJ was a different beast in playoffs, and social media is praising him as the GOAT.

 

The 61-year-old NBA legend played six NBA Finals, winning all of them, and was named the Finals MVP six times. While Chamberlain dominates the list of most 50-point games in the regular season with 118 games, followed by Jordan’s 31 games, the Bulls legend has the most 50-point games in playoffs.

In his 15-season career, the five-time NBA MVP averaged a record 30.1 points, with a career-high of 37.1 points per game in the 1986-87 regular season. In his 13 playoff appearances, Jordan led the Bulls to six NBA Finals and never lost a single series.

In 1986, Chicago suffered a 3-0 first-round loss against the Boston Celtics. However, Jordan registered the NBA record 43.7 points per game average, scoring 49 and 63 in the first two games.

In NBA playoff history, Jordan has the most 50-point games with eight, followed by Wilt Chamberlain with four and Allen Iverson with three. Donovan Mitchell leads the active players with three 50-point games, followed by Jamal Murray, Damian Lillard, and Jayson Tatum, who has the most career-points under the age of 27, with two games each. The Bulls legend played 179 playoff games and failed to score 20 points only six times.
