Team USA remained unbeaten to win their fifth straight men’s basketball gold in the Olympics. The Golden State Warriors guard appeared on NBC’s Today Show and interacted with several young fans.
In a viral video clip on social media, Stephen Curry, who received high praise from Isaiah Thomas, surprised the fans with his heartfelt gesture. The young kids were blown away as Curry showed them his Olympic gold medal, while he even let one child touch the champion’s medal.

Four-time NBA champion Steph Curry’s thoughtful gesture surprised the kids at the event and captivated social media. Fans on X (formerly Twitter) praised the all-time leading three-point scorer in the NBA for his generous act and called him a “true champion.”
In the 2023-24 season, Stephen Curry averaged 26.4 points per game on 45% shooting from the field and 40.8% from beyond the arc. He also averaged 4.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game as the Golden State Warriors failed to qualify for the Playoffs, finishing 10th in the Western Conference with a 46-36 record.
Curry has launched a children’s superhero graphic novel called ‘Sports Superheroes,’ and was seen promoting it. However, with the 2024-25 NBA season approaching, the NBA stars must end their promotional obligation to focus on training and commitments with their teams.
