A Florida State football fan wrote a check he couldn’t cash, and fans are not happy he didn’t follow through on what he stated he would do if the Seminoles lost.

College football fans have been known to make some wild bets, but one fan found himself in a situation after a proclamation related to the Week 1 matchup between the Seminoles and Boston College.

X user “@321nole,” pledged to eat dog poop “out of a red Solo cup with a spoon” if FSU lost to Boston College.

The fan even stated he would make a video of it.

To no one’s surprise, the Florida State Seminoles came out extremely flat in their game against Boston College, and the fan would suddenly disappear once it was a foregone conclusion that his favorite team would not come out with a win.

Hours after his post went incredibly viral on social media, the Florida State fan finally emerged from hiding and spoke out.

He made it clear that he was not going to eat poo.

“Yall can stop tagging me, I’m not going to eat dog shit.”

Fans were not happy with the Florida State fan going back on his word:

Lane Kiffin Called Out Florida State Fan For Disappearing After Pledge To Eat Poop

Before Florida State squared off against Boston College on Monday, an X account named “321nole” stated he would eat dog poop “out of a red solo cup with a spoon” if the Seminoles lost.

The Seminoles fell 28-13 to the Eagles.

The following day, Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin took to X and quote tweeted ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt commenting on the unusual situation.

Even Kiffin had to call him out for hiding:

This is the first time since 2021 that Florida State has begun a season with back-to-back losses.

Nothing about their two losses leads the fan base to believe that the program can turn it around and possibly run the table the rest of the way.
