Since his NBA Draft, Jeremy Sochan has proved his athleticism with the San Antonio Spurs. However, just before the start of his third season, the Spurs star found himself in a serious car accident that could have had far worse consequences.

Last weekend, Sochan lost control of his Porsche while driving on a Texas highway. The accident occurred on the ramp connecting I-10 to Loop 1604, where his vehicle crashed into a guardrail. Fortunately, no other vehicles were involved in the incident, and Sochan walked away from the scene without any significant injuries.

A TikTok user recorded a video of the scene.

Sochan stated he was headed southbound at the listed location when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the left side guard rail/bridge. EMS services were refused. TxDOT was contacted and updated on the listed damage. Sochan’s was the only vehicle involved in the listed incident,” the crash report read.

Images from the scene reveal that Sochan’s Porsche, a vehicle with a base model starting at $240,000, sustained considerable damage. Despite the severity of the crash, the Spurs forward is fortunate to have emerged unscathed.

No Criminal Charges for Jeremy Sochan Following Texas Highway Crash

The San Antonio Police Department has announced that no criminal charges will be filed against Jeremy Sochan following his recent car crash on a Texas highway. The Spurs forward lost control of his Porsche, but it remains uncertain whether he was driving above the speed limit at the time.

Sochan is coming off a strong season after quickly becoming a key player for the Spurs. Last year, he started 74 games, averaging 11.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.

His stellar season earned him a spot on the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. Over the past two seasons, Sochan has maintained solid averages of 11.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.

With no criminal charges looming over him, Sochan can now focus on continuing his development and contributing to the Spurs’ success in the upcoming season.
