The Golden State Warriors had a disappointing 2023-24 NBA season, as they were eliminated in the Play-In tournament. Nonetheless, the Warriors had experienced remarkable success in previous years, including winning the championship in the 2021-22 season. The team’s trio of Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson has been instrumental in securing four championships in recent years.

Additionally, head coach Steve Kerr has played a vital role in the team’s success. Despite his best efforts for tremendous success, former NBA player Dennis Rodman criticized Kerr’s role and claimed that the 4-time NBA champion coach is simply sitting and watching the game.

Steve Kerr ain’t coaching sh*t. Steve Kerr’s having a good time. He ain’t coaching. He’s just having a good time. He just sitting there and letting those kids shoot. That’s all he’s doing, man. He’s just sitting there. He ain’t doing no damn thing.” Rodman said in the video.

Kerr Unveils Game Plan for Olympic Glory

Steve Kerr is the coach for Team USA for the 2024 Paris Olympics. During the pre-Olympic exhibition games against several teams, Kerr guided the team to clinch five straight wins. However, the actual games for Team USA will start on July 28th when they play against Serbia. During an interview with The Athletic at a practice session, Kerr opened up about his strategy for the Olympics.

“I think that’s what today is about — it’s the reminder, ‘It’s time,’ you know? We’re not traveling around anymore. We’re here. We’ve got six games. We’ve got to get into the pool play, advance, and then it’s NCAA Tournament. So we need 40 minutes of force, attention, and focus, and we can’t let teams outplay us with effort and energy like we did the other night against Germany like we did against South Sudan.” Kerr said.

Team USA will begin their Olympic campaign against Serbia on July 28.
