New York Jets superstar cornerback Sauce Gardner sent the perfect tweet (which he has since deleted) regarding the upcoming 2024 U.S. presidential election.

Sauce Gardner is among the many prominent athletes offering their voices for the upcoming election. But rather than endorse a specific party/candidate, Gardner posted the following message in a since-deleted tweet that everyone should be able to agree on:

“If I was President, I would enforce more unity between the Republicans/Democrats and make decisions solely based on what’s best for the United States than just a specific party. (possibly deleting soon).”

Regardless of one’s political leanings, Gardner’s message to his fellow Americans on Tuesday should not be ignored.

On Sunday, U.S. President Joe Biden announced that he’s withdrawing from the 2024 presidential election. Though the Democratic Party hasn’t made an official announcement yet, all signs point to Vice President Kamala Harris receiving the nomination.

Joe Biden’s stunning decision to step down following his term will make him the first president not to seek reelection since Lyndon Johnson, who served in office from 1963 to 1969).

The 2024 U.S. presidential election will be held on Nov. 5. If Trump wins, he’ll become just the second U.S. president to serve two non-consecutive terms, joining Grover Cleveland

Sauce Gardner has emerged as one of the NFL’s elite players since entering the NFL as the No. 4 pick in 2022. The Cincinnati product already has 31 pass breakups, two Pro Bowl selections and a pair of First-team All-Pro nods over his first two NFL seasons.

Sauce Gardner & Jets Should Be Super Bowl Contenders In 2024

The Jets’ Super Bowl hopes in 2023 went down the drain once star quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles tear in Week 1. But with the four-time league MVP returning behind center, the Jets should re-emerge as contenders here in 2024.

New York has one of the league’s elite defenses with Sauce Gardner leading the way, and Rodgers fronts an offense featuring Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, Allen Lazard and Mike Williams. If Rodgers stays healthy, the Jets should end their 14-year playoff drought and contend for the Lombardi Trophy.
