Another Frozen Body Has Been Discovered On Mount Everest [VIDEO]

Another body has been discovered on Mount Everest, having been exposed by melting ice.
A video that has been circulating on social media shows the remains of a frozen climber and is right below.
“Another body emerges on Everest: a climber frozen for decades, now revealed by melting ice. Over 200 remain entombed on the world’s highest peak,” the caption reads.
The body is thought to have been on the mountain for decades.
Since 1992, when such stats began being recorded, over 300 climbers have died on Mount Everest. As such, estimates suggest that around 200 bodies remain covered by snow and ice.
While it marks a feat for thrill seekers and climbers, the Himalayan peak, located on the border of Nepal and China, is incredibly treacherous due to its high altitude, severe temperatures, and low oxygen levels.
Mount Everest’s Grim Legacy Grows With Each Frozen Body

Climbers are constantly warned of the dangers of expeditions on Everest, with the high number of lost bodies serving as a reminder.
Due to climate change, the melting of ice and the movement of glaciers have been revealing bodies that were previously hidden for decades. Each new corpse found adds to the lore and becomes part of the mount’s sinister legacy.
The body shown above isn’t the only one to be discovered in recent times. Remains of a climber who went missing way back in 1994 were found on a Swiss glacier last month, according to local authorities, as reported by CBS.
It was discovered by climbers heading to the summit of the Ober Gabelhorn mountain on October 15. The climbers called the police, who responded via helicopter.
According to police, the remains are from a Swiss citizen born in 1969.
Two climbers reportedly disappeared in the area on November 4, 1994. One of them was found in 2000. October’s discovery brought an end to the case.
