Jessie J has revealed a rare and devastating update in her breast cancer treatment journey.
She shared a candid update with fans about an unexpected delay in her cancer treatment, leaving supporters concerned about the British singer’s ongoing health battle.
Jessie underwent a full mastectomy in June, just weeks after performing at Capital’s Summertime Ball at London’s Wembley Stadium.
The mother of two-year-old son Sky has been remarkably open about her diagnosis and treatment, sharing both the physical and emotional challenges of her recovery.
In August, she announced the need for a second surgery before the year’s end, which forced her to postpone her UK and European tour dates from October 2025 to April 2026, while US dates were canceled entirely.

Despite the setbacks, Jessie remains focused on her music career. Her sixth studio album, ‘Don’t Tease Me With A Good Time,’ is scheduled for release on November 28, and she’s set to perform at the Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall on November 19.
The singer’s openness about her cancer journey has resonated with fans worldwide, with many praising her strength and transparency during such a difficult time.
While the postponement is undoubtedly frustrating, Jessie’s positive attitude and determination to keep moving forward continue to inspire those following her story.
As she navigates this uncertain period, fans remain hopeful for positive news about when the surgery can be safely rescheduled and continue to send messages of support and encouragement to the beloved performer.
The ‘Price Tag’ hitmaker took to Instagram on Monday to reveal that her planned second breast cancer surgery has been postponed, despite having already rescheduled her tour dates to accommodate the procedure.

The 37-year-old explained that complications arose just a week before her scheduled operation when her surgeon determined the procedure would be more complex than initially anticipated, leading to a referral to a different specialist who recommended waiting.
“Obviously, I’d already canceled my tour, so I was obviously frustrated, but again it’s out of my control and two different surgeons had two different opinions,” the singer told her followers in a video message.
Rather than dwelling on the disappointment, Jessie has pivoted to organizing new tour dates for next year.
She expressed excitement about starting 2026 with the rescheduled performances, telling fans she was ‘so happy that I got to make this happen so quickly.’
The singer’s determination to continue working despite her health challenges has been evident throughout her treatment. Last month, she performed her first concert since her diagnosis at BBC Radio 2 In The Park in Chelmsford, telling the crowd she was ‘still very much in the recovery process’ but grateful to be back doing what she loves.
Jessie also made an emotional return to television with a performance on the Strictly Come Dancing launch show in September, marking her first TV appearance since the mastectomy.
