Oregon Ducks Cheerleader Was Going Viral While Getting Drenched In The Rain [VIDEO]

Cheering through a football game is tough, but doing it in freezing rain is next level. That’s exactly what Oregon Ducks cheerleaders pulled off Saturday night in Eugene. One cheerleader went viral after cameras caught her keeping the energy up despite being completely soaked.
The weather was awful, but the Ducks still beat Wisconsin 21-7 at Autzen Stadium. Fans cheered, players battled, and the cheer squad smiled through the downpour or at least tried to. Rain drenched their uniforms, but they kept waving pom-poms and shouting like nothing was wrong.
A viral video shows one cheerleader doing her best to hype up the crowd while clearly freezing. Her expression said it all part determination, part “please get me off this field.”
It perfectly captured the cold, chaotic vibe in Eugene that night.
Oregon Braved The Storm

Oregon may have won on Saturday night, but the cheerleaders didn’t look too happy on the sidelines. Cold rain poured down the entire game, and even though the Oregon Ducks cheerleaders are known as some of the best in the country, it was hard for them to keep up through the miserable weather. They clearly weren’t enjoying the rain, and who could blame them?
Head coach Dan Lanning praised his team afterward, calling it “a fun environment” despite the ugly conditions. “Our fans were unbelievable,” he said. “We had some really unselfish play from our players.” The Ducks improved to 7-1 and kept their College Football Playoff hopes alive, but it was clear the night tested everyone’s patience, not just the guys on the field.
For the Oregon cheerleaders, the rainy night was quite tough. Soaked and freezing, it might not have been what they wanted, but they definitely were praised enough.
This isn’t the first time college cheerleaders have gone viral. Recently, the Morehead State squad was also in the attention for their own standout moment.
Next time the Ducks play, everyone’s hoping for sunshine.
