Shannen Doherty was seen smiling with friends in the last public photos taken of her before her death on Saturday.

The “Beverly Hills, 90210” star was photographed with her longtime pal Chris Cortazzo and a female friend on June 16 as they walked out of Kristy’s waterfront restaurant in Malibu, Calif.

The trio appeared to be in high spirits as they enjoyed each other’s company. Cortazzo even had an arm wrapped around Doherty.

Doherty died at the age of 53 after a years-long battle with cancer.

She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2015 and publicly speculated she had five years left to live after it metastasized to her lymph nodes.

However, in April 2017, she announced she was in remission.

Less than three years later, in February 2020, the “Charmed” alum revealed the cancer had returned at stage 4. It then metastasized to her brain and, earlier this year, to her bones.

Doherty was candid about her health and mindset over the years and in April revealed she was preparing for death by going through her belongings — and even packing up her Tennessee home — to make things “a lot easier” for her mom.

While she was mentally preparing herself and her family for the worst, she said in November 2023 that she felt she had plenty of life left to live.

“I’m not done with living, I’m not done with loving, I’m not done with creating, I’m not done with, hopefully, changing things for the better,” she told People at the time.

In the June 25 episode of her “Let’s Be Clear” podcast, she said she was “hopeful” about her cancer treatment plan.

Doherty said she was “hopeful” about her cancer treatment options on her podcast in June.
However, in April, she admitted she had started preparing for death by going through her belongings.
