Brittany Mahomes, repping Gucci in incredibly expensive crystalized platform sneakers, attends Wimbledon 2024 alongside Patrick Mahomes.
Brittany and Patrick Mahomes attended day five of Wimbledon Tennis Championships 2024 held in London on July 5.
The soccer star laced upp Gucci white leather embroidered web crystal sneakers. The designer style features almond-shaped toes, platform midsoles fixed with high-shine crystal detailing, signature striped sides with a striking gold bee logo on either side, lace-up closures and logo Gucci detailing on the heels in contrasting red and blue.
The sparkling touch on the soles offered the otherwise plain white sneaker style an eye-catching touch. The silhouette is seemingly vintage, given it is currently not available on Gucci’s website. Despite this, the sneaker is available on third-party websites to buy pre-owned. Gucci features a variety of similar sneaker styles in both high and low-top styles.
On theme, Brittany wore a blue, white and red tennis-inspired dress, also from Gucci. The star’s ensemble featured a collared neckline, sweet and simple striped detailing and a preppy pleated hemline. The designer brand’s logo was also plastered throughout the garment.
Where shoes are concerned, Brittany often opts for neutral and contemporary styles. When off-duty or supporting Patrick at Chiefs games, her shoes of choice range from Air Jordan sneakers to embellished Christian Louboutin and monochrome Prada boots. For more formal occasions, she can also be seen in metallic and jewel-toned stiletto and block-heeled sandals.
The 2024 Wimbledon Championships started on July 1 and will conclude on July 14. The event is one of the biggest tennis competitions of the year and will feature appearances from big names like David Beckham, Poppy Delevingne, Rebel Wilson, Dave Grohl, Princess Olympia, James Blake and Pink Pantheress, among many others. Last year, Carlos Alcaraz took home his first Wimbledon title on the men’s side, while Marketa Vondrousova won on the women’s side, securing her first Grand Slam victory.
