For some reason, the internet can’t get enough of the guy. He’s probably the most loved murder suspect in the history of both murder and suspects, and it appears he just might be able to charm his way out of a conviction if given the chance.
Mangione, an Ivy League graduate, is facing life in prison if convicted following his arrest for the killing of former UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in December. He could also face the death penalty as he’s also been hit with federal charges.
Luigi Mangione’s Court Photos Were All the Fuss On Social Media
Despite being accused of mercilessly gunning someone down in the streets in broad daylight, the 26-year-old has built up a fanbase and was met with cheers when he was taken to court on Friday.
As noted above, his photos also caused a stir.

Mangione recently expressed gratitude for all the support he has received since his arrest, releasing a statement via a website created by his lawyers in which he thanked his fans for their letters.
Rumors indicated that Mangione’s supporters have raised over half a million dollars for his legal defense.
