President Donald Trump Reveals Special Plans For Team USA In 4 Nations Face-Off Final vs. Canada While Taking Major Shot At Canadians

United States President Donald Trump will not attend the 4 Nations Face-Off final on Thursday in Boston when Canada and the United States compete for the championship.
Thursday’s showdown will mark the second meetup between Canada and the United States at the 4 Nations Face-Off.
All eyes will be on Boston as Team USA and Canada square off at TD Garden for the championship in a rematch of last week’s game that started with three fights in the first nine seconds.
With Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attending Saturday’s contest, Trump made sure to get in some words that are sure to upset him ahead of the game.
President Donald Trump might not be at the game, but he certainly took a slapshot at Canada on Thursday as he suggested a US takeover of the northern neighbor as a “fifty-first state.”
The US president said he would call Team USA to wish them luck, posting on his Truth Social platform,
I’ll be calling our GREAT American Hockey Team this morning to spur them on towards victory tonight against Canada, which with FAR LOWER TAXES AND MUCH STRONGER SECURITY, will someday, maybe soon, become our cherished, and very important, Fifty First State. I will be speaking before the Governors tonight in D.C., and will sadly, therefore, be unable to attend. But we will all be watching, and if Governor Trudeau would like to join us, he would be most welcome. Good luck to everybody, and have a GREAT game tonight. So exciting! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP
Trump concluded with a sporting remark: “Good luck to everybody, and have a GREAT game tonight. So exciting!”
Both Canada and the United States advanced to the final after eliminating Finland and Sweden.
Donald Trump Might Not Be Joking About Making Canada The USA’s 51st State

Since returning to the White House, President Donald Trump has repeatedly suggested that Canada become the 51st U.S. state.
Trump again stirred the pot before a major hockey clash Thursday between the U.S. and Canada.
The president, writing on Truth Social, said he would spur the U.S. “on towards victory tonight against Canada, which with FAR LOWER TAXES AND MUCH STRONGER SECURITY, will someday, maybe soon, become our cherished, and very important, Fifty First State.”
When asked about the idea earlier this month in an interview with Fox News, the president said he was being serious.
“I think Canada would be much better off being the 51st State because we lose $200 billion a year with Canada. And I’m not going to let that happen,” he said, according to the Associated Press. “Why are we paying $200 billion a year, essentially a subsidy to Canada?”
