“Shipment Has Been Intercepted By Cooper DeJean”: NFL Fans Had A Lot To Say About Chiefs ‘Three-Peat’ Super Bowl Gear Getting Shipped Out To 5 Random Countries

With the Kansas City Chiefs’ dreams of a historic three-peat gone, the apparel for the day that never happened has to go somewhere.
The Chiefs were unsuccessful in their campaign for a historic Super Bowl three-peat earlier this month, leaving many pre-printed victory gear in limbo.
Luckily, all of those shirts and hats are going to be of good use.
Kansas City hoped to become the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls, only for Patrick Mahomes and company to be destroyed by the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ loss is a ton of other people’s gain.
According to the Kansas City Star, thousands of shirts, hats, and sweatshirts made in anticipation of the Chiefs making history will now be shipped to people in need in countries around the world.
For more than a decade, the NFL has partnered with Good360 to distribute unsellable apparel after big games.
The merchandise is repurposed before being donated to countries such as Ukraine, Mongolia, Georgia, Estonia, and Latvia.
Here is how social media reacted:
“UPDATE: The shipment has been intercepted by Cooper DeJean,” one fan hilariously said.
“Nah they are utterly confused at how the chiefs could 3 peat when the 49ers and eagles won it the previous 2 years ,” a second fan stated.
“Some Ukrainian kid is walking around with a Chiefs 3 peat shirt on,” a third fan added.
“They’re gonna be confused asf cuz they thought the Eagles and Niners won the last 2,” another fan commented about the Kansas City Chiefs’ apparel.
One last fan stated: “There’s people in other countries who think native Americans have a football team that won 3 super bowls in a row.”
The Kansas City Chiefs Are Down But Not Finished
The Eagles won their second Super Bowl in franchise history with a thunderous 40-22 victory over the Chiefs, but do not expect Kansas City to be done.
The three-peat dream is dead for the Chiefs, but they can certainly start a new one.
BetMGM Sportsbook released odds for every team to win the Super Bowl next season, and the Eagles lead while the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, and Detroit Lions are seen as the early challengers.
As long as the Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes, they will be a contender.
