Sorry, Philadelphia Eagles players, coaches and fans: You’ll have to think of another excuse if your team loses to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59.

The Chiefs and Eagles will play on Sunday at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans for the Lombardi Trophy. This is a rematch of Super Bowl 57, which Kansas City won 38-35 at the Arizona Cardinals’ home venue, State Farm Stadium.

You may recall that the field used for Super Bowl 57 was a problem for both teams, with players slipping all over the place. Then-Eagles star edge rusher Haason Reddick said the field “was the worst field that I’ve ever played on”, with offensive tackle Jordan Mailata comparing it to “a water park.”

Well, social media detectives quickly went to work in reminding the Eagles that they’re out of excuses if they lose to the Chiefs in Super Bowl 59: The playing surface won’t be a problem on Sunday since the Superdome uses turf:
