Saquon Barkley Received Monster Payout After Leading Eagles To NFC Championship Win Over Washington Commanders
Philadelphia Eagles superstar running back Saquon Barkley pocketed himself a nice cash bonus after leading the team to victory over the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game.
Saquon Barkley was again the hero for Philly, racking up 118 rushing yards and three touchdowns in the team’s 55-23 win. With that, the Eagles are headed to the big dance for the third time in eight years.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Barkley’s contract with the Eagles carries a $250,000 bonus if they reach the Super Bowl and another $250 K if they win it all. Having blown out Washington, Barkley has assured himself an additional quarter of a million dollars.
Saquon Barkley signed a three-year deal worth $37.75 million with the Eagles in 2024 free agency after the New York Giants made the mind-numbing decision to let him walk for nothing.
Giants Are Haunted By Losing Saquon Barkley To Archrivals
While the New York Giants continue to do homework on 2025 NFL Draft prospects, the Eagles get to celebrate a special victory that has them one win away from Lombardi Trophy No. 2.
The Giants’ mistake was the Eagles’ treasure, and now the 2,000-yard rusher is one win away from putting a cherry on top of his special season.
