VIDEO: Las Vegas Police Release New Video Of the Exploded Cybertruck Outside The Trump Hotel, Showing Explosive Ordinances In The Back
One person was killed, and many others were hurt and injured after a Tesla Cybertruck suddenly exploded outside of the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas.
The FBI is working to determine whether the incident was a terrorist act, which came hours after the terror act in New Orleans that claimed 15 lives after a 42-year-old man purposely rammed his truck into pedestrians on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.
A person inside the vehicle died, which is the person they think set off the events in front of the hotel.
Sheriff Kevin McMahill of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department called the explosion “an isolated incident” and said there is no indication that it was linked to ISIS.
Hours after the incident, Las Vegas Police would release footage of the of the exploded Cybertruck outside of the Trump Hotel.
The video showed the explosive ordinances in the back.
Police credit the truck with containing much of the explosion, which did not damage much of the hotel and saved lives.
Is The Cybertruck In Las Vegas And The Truck In New Orleans Connected?
Police are investigating after a Tesla Cybertruck filled with fuel canisters and fireworks exploded outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The only person killed was the driver, as others were hurt.
The truck was rented in Colorado, parked in front of the hotel near a glass entrance, and then suddenly detonated. It sat idle for several seconds before exploding.
This situation came just hours after 15 people died and 30 were injured after a truck drove into a crowd during New Year’s celebrations in New Orleans.
That truck was also rented using the same exact app as the Cybertruck.
It leads to many questions about whether both incidents were connected, which is something authorities are looking into.
